This will just be a short little segment describing who I am and my interests, just so you all know what kind of person I am and if you can identify with my character. I think it is very important for you to know the person from whom you're taking their advice and recommendations - just because I like something, does not necessarily mean you will either.
My online name, as you may know already, is Arya. This is not my real name, however my birth name is quite exotic and unique, therefore I have decided to keep it private until a time comes where I feel safe enough to reveal my identity. Arya is a nickname for my true name, and I know many of you may immediately latch onto the connection to Game of Thrones, but trust me, it is not solely due to the fact that I like the name.
I do love Game of Thrones, however.
Anyway, besides from the name, I figured I should explain some of my favourite genres of book, styles of writing I'm into and other things literacy-based that may be of use/reference.
Firstly, I read a lot of Young Adult, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, Adventure and a little action, as well. I'm pretty open-minded and will not limit myself to just one or a few genres, so if you have any suggestions for books please feel free to message me.
Secondly, it is incredibly difficult for me to name my favourite books, simply due to the fact that the list just goes on and on. Two series' in particular I have always been a massive fan of, and are probably my top-picks if I had to mention two, and that would be Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices. Some love it, some aren't such great fans, however I, having read the series right when it was first released in 2007, definitely fall in the former category. Anyway, please don't be soon to judge, as I, again, do enjoy a variety of literacy works.
Thirdly, as for poetry, a few of my favourite poets are T.S. Eliot, Tyler Knott Gregson, Christopher Poindexter and Sarah Williams for her poem, The Old Astronomer to His Pupil.
Anyway, that's all. If you want to know any further information about myself please check up on my blog (in particular, my first blog post), where you can find and read up about my everyday shenanigans and the thoughts that make my little head wonder.
